Doing what we love most means hanging out in our favourite ocean classrooms and sharing our knowledge of the oceans with #futureoceangaurdians . Afterall, these are the kids that will inherit our oceans and the bounty that comes with them.
As we know, the way we look after our oceans today impacts the livelihoods of tomorrow: Healthy oceans ensure food, transport, climate, health and well-being, recreation, tourism, economy and even the quality of the air we breathe.
Our teaching is centered on connectedness and the belief that by making small changes we have the potential to impact great change around us, as our decisions ultimately affects all things.
Change begins with us, at home, and in our own lives. Only when we heal ourselves and we understand the role that we play, can we truly begin to impact our environment. The children of Phyllis Jowell pledged to do away with single-use straws. #oceanpledge
