OUR PROGRAMS ARE BUILT ON THREE FOUNDATIONS
Empowering Future Leaders
A 9-week curriculum in public speaking and leadership, co-created with award-winning communication specialist Verity Price, equips youth with transferable life skills — public speaking, self-mastery, critical thinking — to drive meaningful change.
Adventure Based Learning
Immersive ocean experiences — from snorkelling in marine protected areas, sailing, to night-time rock pool adventures — foster the deep emotional connections that inspire lasting conservation mindsets and open pathways to careers in marine conservation.
Real World Action
Graduates join the Ambassadors-in-Action network, designing and leading community projects with ongoing mentorship — making tangible impact while building their CVs.

WHAT THE PROGRAM OFFERS
Skills & Communication
Co-created content by international communication specialist, Verity Price, students develop public speaking, storytelling, body language, and critical thinking. Besides culminating in powerful ambassadorial communication skills, these are life skills — transferable to school, careers, and civic life.
Immersive Ocean Experiences
From sailing days to snorkelling in marine protected areas, students build an emotional bond with the ocean and meet scientists and organisations working to protect it. Seeing themselves as part of a fragile ecosystem shifts their sense of responsibility toward inspired conservation mindsets.
Conservation Context
Expert talks by local conservationists, NGOs, and thought leaders provide real-world context, open career pathways, and connect students to a wider movement working for ocean health.
Graduation & Pledge
Students deliver a final speech to a live audience and receive their Ocean Pledge certificate, publicly committing to their role as Voice of the Ocean ambassadors.
WHAT THE NETWORK OFFERS
Community Activations
Graduates design and lead their own activations — from school talks and beach clean-ups to social media campaigns and public pledge events — earning stipends and building real-world experience for their CVs.
Ongoing Learning & Mentorship
Monthly learning sessions, networking opportunities, leadership workshops, and continued exposure to marine careers keep Ambassadors growing long after graduation.
A Sense of Agency
Students experience what it means to be part of something bigger than themselves, applying their newfound skills with a genuine sense of ownership and purpose.
